Thank you to all our graduates, and to the families and friends who came to celebrate Graduation Day with us at SSHL.
The day began in the school dining hall, where the graduating students met their exam witnesses and teachers. Examination lessons followed, with students presenting their projects before the exam witnesses and school leadership.
The ceremony continued with scrutinium in the Sports Hall for graduates, exam witnesses and teachers. When asked whether the students had passed, the exam witnesses answered with a resounding YES. The graduates then said goodbye to their teachers.
From scrutinium, the students ran up the campus hill to Midgården, where their colourful abiturient caps were exchanged for white student caps. Meanwhile, families and friends gathered on Midgårdsplanen, waiting to see them appear on Midgårdstrappan.
At twelve o’clock the great doors of Midgården opened, and the graduates ran out in their white caps to the Swedish graduation anthem.
To close the ceremony, the students lined up for photographs, then marched from campus through the town of Sigtuna.
