SSHL in numbers

Our students

Today, the school has around 595 students:

  • Around 220 are boarders
  • Around 375 are day students

IB middle years programme MYP4 (year 9): appr 50 students.
Swedish high school curriculum and IB (year 10-12): appr 545 students.

Language

Our students and teachers come from around 35 different countries.

Approximately 200 students receive their lessons in English:
– IB DP, IB MYP and Business Management & Economics (bilingual).

Students from all over the world

Our boarding students are divided into eight houses; four girls homes and four boys homes. They consist of a mix of Swedish and international young adults, who live and study as boarding students at SSHL:

  • about 81 of our boarders are Swedish-nationals living abroad
  • some 95 of our boarders are from Sweden.
  • about 35 of our boarding students are foreign citizens.
