Concert in memory of Povel Ramel – 14 February

Welcome to a concert at SSHL!

“Povel’s Naturbarn” is a music show with Lotta and Mikael Ramel and Backa Hans Eriksson. We invite you to this event in memory of our alumni Povel Ramel, who would have turned 100 last year.

The concert is organized in collaboration with the Mama Norah Education Center MNEC / the Kenya project at SSHL. Snacks and drinks available for purchase before and after the show.

Povel Ramel 100 years

In June 2022, the legendary composer, lyricist and musician Povel Ramel (1922 – 2007) would have turned 100 years old. This was recognized with concerts and TV shows in tribute  to his memory last year.

Povel Ramel was a boarding student at SHL during the years 1934 -1937 and lived at House Kvarnbranten. Already during his school days, he showed great evidence of his creative side, both as a writer and show producer.
