Success – NECIS tournaments in tennis and golf 

The NECIS organisation arranges sporting events every year between schools in Northern Europe.

Last week, our school hosted the NECIS Golf Tournament at Sigtuna Golf Club and a number of schools from Northern Europe visited to take part. The visiting teams stayed at SSHL and took the opportunity for a night out to play bowling as well.

The competitions were exciting and very well played, the weather varying with both sun and rain. We are very proud of our students who played so well!

This weekend, the school’s tennis team also traveled to Amsterdam for the NECIS Tennis Tournament, and they brought home 8 medals in total:

• 4 gold medals, 3 single and 1 for double.
• 3 silver medals, 2 single and 1 for double.
• 1 bronze medal, for single.

If you are ambitious and demonstrate the right spirit, you may have the honour of representing the school, both in Sweden and abroad. NECIS offers lots of contact with international schools in other countries. If you are selected for a NECIS event, you’ll get to meet young people from all over the world, create happy memories and even make lifelong friends.
