Great results for our IB DP21 students
As we look forward to the start of the academic year we would like to reflect on the achievements of our DP21 class who received their exam results on July 6th 2021.
We cannot be prouder of our students whose IB DP journey had been far from what they expected when they began in August 2019.
On July 6th the IB DP results were released and we were so pleased to see our students achieving an average score of 35,6, with 98% of our students being awarded their Diploma. Fifteen students scored 40 points or more, with the highest achieved being 44 points.
The worldwide pass rate was 88,96% with an average score of 33,2.
The IB Diploma programme is a challenging academic programme which encourages both personal and academic achievement. The pandemic had added a layer of uncertainty during the two years but we were happy to be able to hold the final exams in May 2021 so that our students could show their academic development. During the two years they illustrated their personal development and achievements in many ways; how well they dealt with the unique situation and challenges due to the pandemic, the wide range of CAS portfolios completed and engagement in the wider school community to name but a few.
We congratulate all DP21 students on their achievements during their two year IB Diploma Programme and wish them the best of luck in their futures.
