Focus on democracy at Model European Parliament in Tallin

Our students represent SSHL and meet the Prime Minister of Estonia at the Model European Parliament in Tallinn.

This week SSHL, together with students from Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium, participates in the Erasmus-funded EU role-play Model European Parliament.

The session is held in Tallinn this year and at the opening, the Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas spoke about the importance of young people being actively involved in questions regarding democracy in the world.

During the session, around 200 teachers and students from all over EU meet to discuss European politics and create friendships. The Swedish delegation also paid an appreciated visit to the Swedish Embassy in Tallin.

The event and the journey to Estonia is an experience of a lifetime, where students get to go outside their comfort zone, develop and grow as a person.
