What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on a visitor’s computer and contain information. Cookies are normally used to improve the visitor’s website experience.

There are two types of cookies. The first type of cookie saves a file that is stored on the visitor’s computer, and is used for example to customise a website according to the visitor’s choices and interests. The other type of cookie is called session cookie, which is temporarily stored in the visitor’s computer memory while visiting a website. Session cookies disappear as soon as the visitor closes their browser.

How SSHL use cookies

The web analysis tool on this site, Google Analytics, use cookies. These cookies gather only aggregated information about how visitors use the site, to improve the site and provide a good user experience. We gather no personal data about our visitors via cookies. If you choose not to accept cookies, information will not be gathered. To monitor the traffic on our website we use Active Campaign and Facebook Pixel. Certain information is gathered, but no personal data however.

Only when you as a visitor actively choose to fill in information about yourself, for example in one of our application forms, personal data will be gathered. Read more about how SSHL handle personal data.

SSHL also use cookies for social media to let our visitors share our content in their own channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter). For this function to work, cookie files that are stored on the visitor’s computer are needed.
