Happy Easter!
Easter break is upon us, and yesterday we had a day full of activities.
The activities began with an Easter assembly and continued with with a visit from Peter Wallenberg for Easter lunch. Towards the end of the day we had a student conference for all of our student associations.
Easter Assembly
The Easter assembly started off with a short talk from the school priest who managed to fit in some April fools jokes into his speech making it an enjoyable experience for all.
Our newest student organisation, Nobis, presented themselves at yesterday’s assembly. Nobis is here to work for equality at the school. Welcome!
Musical Performance
The performances at our assemblies are always enjoyable:

Easter Lunch with Peter Wallenberg
Classes continued as usual after assembly until it was time to break for lunch consisting of many traditional Swedish Easter dishes including herring, various pies, Jansson’s, meatballs, sausages, salmon and so forth. We were also graced by a visit from Peter Wallenberg, an alumni of Sigtunaskolan and currently active in the Sigtuna School Foundation through his work with Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Stiftelse. Mr. Wallenberg ate lunch and conversed with some of our students and members of the management.
Student Conference
Several times a year, SSHL organises a student conference with representatives from each of our student organisations. These student conferences give the student organisations an opportuniuty to present their progress, plans and ideas for improvements to their organisation and the school. Yesterday’s conference saw SSHL’s new student association Nobis represented for the first time. We look forward to presenting Nobis in more detail soon.
